If I could have any job, anywhere it would be...

Blogust is hosted by the wonderful  Beyond Elsewhere  and Do What Now?  This is where you write something every day in August.

Today's question is: If you could have any job, anywhere in the world what would it be?

This is such a hard question to answer because there are so many jobs I'd like to have and places I'd like to live. Since I can't narrow it down to one thing, here are my top five choices:

5. Ships burser. I'd love to sail around the world

4.  Archivist at the National Archives in Washington DC. (I think preserving history would be fascinating)

3.  Tour Guide in England

2. Anything that would allow me to work in Paris, France

1. Archaeologist. I was going to major in that in college until I found out how much science and math is involved, so I settled on History instead. I would love to be able to uncover new ancient artifacts. As for the place, it would have to be either Egypt, Mexico or Peru. (Pretty much anywhere where there are pyramids, lol.)

  1. I worked as a tour guide for a summer once--not in England, just near to where I lived. It was actually pretty fun. You don't make a lot of money, though.

    1. You can be one, too, it's not that hard. You can start out in a small museum as a volunteer.
